Heat Pump Installation for Electricians

In partnership with Hitachi, this two day course will provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to successfully install heat pumps in most new and existing residential installations, including

  • operational theory,
  • planning and design, customer expectations
  • risk assessment and management
  • compliance requirements,
  • electrical requirements, cable size, circuit protection, isolation etc
  • mechanical requirements, best practice pipework handling, cutting, sealing, flaring, terminating etc
  • Pressure testing and evacuating
  • Commissioning,
  • Customer liaison / handover
