Copper Structured Cabling Essentials

About the Course

This course gives a solid understanding of current copper structured cabling, safety considerations when handling low voltage LAN cables, installation procedures and testing.  It will give electrical workers the essential knowledge to be able to work with, install and test structured cabling, understanding Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A, and Cat 7 cables, understand and comply with structured cabling standards, reduce maintenance calls due to poor installation and comply with design and earth bonding requirements.
